While not essential, contacting us ahead of time will ensure an appointment at a convenient time.
A general eye examination will take under 30 minutes. If your optometrist wants to investigate your eyes further, they will schedule a subsequent examination and let you know the expected duration at that stage. Depending on the nature of the further testing, this can take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.
Depending on your level of cover and if you are eligible for optical, your private health insurer may contribute towards the cost of your eyewear. For your convenience we offer a fully covered range of eyewear products & HICAPS electronic claiming to allow on-the-spot claims from your private health fund for spectacles of contact lenses.
